The studio occupies the garden level of the hosts’ villa and has, like the panoramic room, its own separate entrance. Forty square metres, a private terrace and open views of the sea and the Cretan hills: it is the largest room in the house, and the only one that sleeps three.

The sliding glass door opens wide onto the terrace, the pool and the Aegean Sea. The interior has tiled flooring. A coffee corner on a green marble counter has an espresso machine, kettle, cups and wine glasses.

There is a queen-size bed and a single bed. The studio has wifi, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a minibar, a wardrobe, a desk, a hairdryer and a shower.

Breakfast is included in the price of the studio and served every morning in the shade of the olive trees, facing the sea — a Cretan and continental buffet, plus a few à la carte options. In the evening Giannis, host and chef of the house, serves a single Cretan set menu on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only, by reservation. There is no lunch service; the pool bar, however, stays open.

The studio gives you the run of the rest of the house: the guests’ infinity pool, the sunken lounge and its fire pit, the hot tub below, the yoga space facing the open sea, the fitness room open from 8 am to 8 pm and the Finnish sauna, open from October to May on request. Massages can be booked on site, and Starlink wifi reaches every corner of the grounds.

The studio sleeps up to three adults. The room is available from 3 pm, with check-out before 11 am. You can arrive at any time: the owners will welcome you, or you can self-check in. Olivier and Giannis are happy to answer your questions in French, English or Greek as you plan your stay. Heraklion is a twenty-five-minute drive away.
