Bookings

Bookings are processed by Amenitiz, our booking engine provider, and not by this site. Their engine is embedded in the Book page as an external module: what you see and what you type in it belong to the Amenitiz service, not to our pages, even though it all appears in the same window. The same engine also opens in a new tab, through the link above the module.

The data you enter in that module — dates, contact details, means of payment — is processed under the contract between the guest house and Amenitiz, and in accordance with the Amenitiz privacy policy. Within that processing, HOLDING LESOU is the data controller under the GDPR, and Amenitiz acts as a data processor. That module may set cookies of its own, which are not governed by the preferences panel described below.

The site itself, on the other hand, contains no form: it asks you for nothing and records nothing you might type into it — to reach us, you use your own mail client or your phone. Three separate services may process data through these pages. Bookings are handled by Amenitiz, as described above. Cloudflare Web Analytics is active without consent and provides aggregate traffic statistics without using cookies, local storage, persistent identifiers or browser fingerprinting. Google Analytics 4 is separate and is loaded only after your explicit consent, as described below.

Cookies & audience measurement

We measure visits to the site with Google Analytics 4, in order to know which pages are read and by how many people. It sets two cookies, “_ga” and “_ga_8HQ5PQBYFG”, kept for thirteen months, and it is enabled only after your explicit consent. Until you have accepted, the measurement script is not even downloaded and no audience cookie is set. Your IP address is anonymised and no data is used for advertising purposes.

Consent is collected by an open-source tool installed on our own servers: at that stage, nothing is sent to an outside provider. It sets a single strictly necessary cookie, “cc_cookie”, which remembers your answer for six months. Without it, you would be asked again on every page.

Declining is as simple as accepting, and has no effect on your visit. You may change your mind at any time: the “Manage cookies” control at the bottom of every page reopens the preferences panel. Withdrawing consent immediately disables measurement and deletes the audience cookies already set.

Google describes its own processing of the data in the Google privacy policy. No advertising cookies, no social network trackers and no sharing of data for commercial purposes.
